Roaring Tree Frames

A wide range of unique, distinctive frames, hand crafted personally by Alan Withington. The three basic types are:

Hand crafted plank frames, and more discreet traditionally rebated frames made using wood reclaimed from various sources. The natural profile log frames are usually made from sustainably grown British timber sourced either from local managed woodlands or wood arising from tree surgery.

These frames are unique creations full of character and are totally unlike anything you can buy off the shelf. Because of this all frames are made to order on a see before you buy basis. The frames Alan produces are made to complement each individual Roaring Tree photographic work and speak alongside it in a way that nothing conventionally sourced could hope to achieve!

The photographs in the three gallery links next to the rustic log frame photograph below show the various styles of frames (included in the plank frames gallery are examples of framing customers' own work). You are welcome to view in person with prior arrangement.

The following services are on offer:

*Please note that Roaring Tree operates a zero landfill policy and as such removes unwanted wood/other materials from the waste stream as opposed to generating waste. Waste wood arising from the manufacture of frames is used in energy recovery for domestic heating. Where facilities exist other waste materials unsuitable for reuse are recycled.
