Shadow And Clouds

An austere but beautiful winter landscape, striking in its simplicity yet there is a lot going on! Taken from the bottom of a small valley with the shadows of tall trees cast on the steeply rising field contrasted with a quilted winter sky. The meandering hedge seems to draw you into the view!

Dave’s Bottom, part of the Hidden Valley Trail, Annesley, Nottinghamshire.

F 14, 1/25th second exposure, ISO 200, focal length 16mm, Sigma 10 - 20mm lens

Editing/other information:

Slight editing only consisted brightening and clarifying etc.
