7 Winter Stream

Subject:

Backlit stream flowing through an otherwise frozen landscape. The low winter sun reflects into small stars in the water and gently illuminates the snow. Not one human foot print to be seen!

Location:

Stream adjacent to woodland, Dave’s Bottom, Annesley, Nottinghamshire.

Camera settings:

F 13, 100th second exposure, ISO 200, focal length 13mm, Sigma 10 – 20mm lens

Editing/other information:

Editing consists: brightening and clarifying etc. to reduce the effect of excessive backlighting.
