2 Winter Stream

Subject:

Small stream meandering through an untouched snowscape. I was struck by the magical light and the contrast of moving water in an otherwise completely frozen, yet beautiful winter scene!

Location:

Taken adjacent to the stream running through the valley at Dave’s Bottom, Annesley, Nottinghamshire.

Camera settings:

F 13, 1/125th second exposure, ISO 200, focal length 20mm, Sigma 10 - 20mm lens

Editing/other information:

Editing consisted slight brightening etc. to ensure the finished print loses none of its clarity owing to the strong backlighting.
